It’s Just Good Buisness
September 21st, 2009 by Kris
Most of us that are artists sometimes forget that we have to be buisness men and women first. Here are few things that are easy to implement that have come from some of those “buisness” books that can help you be a little more effective.

- When leaving a voicemail for a client or potental client, leave your name, then your number, then your message. This way if the miss the number, they don’t have to listen to the whole message again.
- Your email signature is valuable real estate, use it! Why do you think that all those Fortune Whatever companies have fancy signatures with embedded links? It does not have to be super fancy, your name, phone number and web address, you might even want to include a tag line or reason for them to go to your site.
- Drop a card everywhere. The reason companies use national advertising and major mass mailing is a numbers game, if we send out 1,000,000 copies there is 1% of those people that will buy our crap. Hopefully your return is higher than that, but get a lot of cards and drop a lot of cards.
That’s all for this week, we’ll catch you later!
